Wake up Henry!

Since all Henry and Elsbeth do is sleep, the theme of pictures remains unchanged. For some diversity, we will start staging photo shoots to give them a bit of perceived activity to their day.

Morning Light

We made it through the first night at home. No surprises. As I was sitting in the nursery early this morning,, I was refreshed to see the sun rise over the crib where Elsbeth and Henry were sleeping. This was the mark of a brand new day.

The Good Doctor

Our hero for the past 8 months. Dr. Beyer was technically the first to hold Henry and Elsbeth.

Going Home

It is amazing that only after 4 days in the hospital Stephanie and the Twins are ready to go home. Stephanie is recovering well from her cesarean. Her doctors are pleased and feel comfortable for her discharge today. As for the Twins, they have exceeded all expectations. At 34 weeks, the textbooks suggest they should not be doing what they are doing. We are so proud of the Henry and Elsbeth for staying warm on their own, eating, gaining weight, and not having any problems with newborn jaundice. We prepared ourselves for not meeting many of these milestones initially. This is a gift to their parents as we prepare to leave the security of the hospital and head home. Wish us luck. Love, Chris and Steph
